Bareilly: District Magistrate Avinash Singh chaired a review meeting of the Development Department’s CM Dashboard at the Collectorate Auditorium on Tuesday to assess departmental performance and improve the district’s ranking on key indicators.
During the meeting, the District Magistrate pointed out that six indicators had adversely affected the district’s ranking in the previous month. He directed officials to pay special attention to these indicators and ensure consistent progress to improve overall performance in the state rankings.
The meeting included a detailed review of several departments and schemes, including the PM Surya Ghar Yojana, Minority Welfare Department, Electricity Department, Horticulture Department, Rural Development Department, Janani Suraksha Yojana, and Agriculture Department. Officials were instructed to upload updated information and progress reports on the portal within the stipulated time.
Avinash Singh also directed that separate meetings be convened regarding the functioning of construction projects and buildings completed under all nine divisions of the Irrigation Department and the Divyangjan Welfare Department.
Construction works linked to the CMIS portal were also reviewed during the meeting. These included projects related to the Forensic Science Laboratory, Drug Warehouse, four projects under the Tourism Department, construction of the Roadways Bus Stand, and infrastructure works under the Basic Education Department. The District Magistrate instructed officials to ensure timely completion of all projects while maintaining quality standards and to complete the handover process for finished works without delay.
Chief Development Officer Devyani, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Vishram Singh, District Coordinator NRLM, District Economics and Statistics Officer, and other district-level officials from concerned departments were present at the meeting.
